33rd Annual Independence Day Parade

The Exchange Club of Madison is delighted to once again invite you to participate in The 33rd Annual Madison Exchange Independence Day Parade in downtown Madison, Connecticut. This year the event falls on Wednesday, July 4th at 11 AM.
The parade theme this year will be “America, Our Winning Spirit”, so your participation will be appreciated.
The Parade will follow the usual route along Boston Post Road to the Surf Club, parade step off will be 11 AM. Formation time is 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM in the Super Stop & Shop parking lot behind the stores on the Boston Post Road.

Please note we have a new special category for neighborhoods or groups that would like to participate in a float competition, the entry fee will be $25.00 and prizes will be awarded to the top three float provided we get enough entries. I hope that this can bring a new excitement to the parade this year.
The picnic area at the Surf Club is a great place to relax after the parade and enjoy Madison’s traditional family time at the beach. Please bring your own tables and cooking gear.

We organize and fully fund the Madison Independence Day Parade, the Easter Egg Hunt at the Surf Club, numerous youth awards such as Youth of the Month/Year & A.C.E., the Freedom Shrines, Child Abuse Prevention Centers and many other community services.
